GOHBA Celebrates Industry Excellence with 2026 Special Achievement Awards

Ottawa, ON – The Greater Ottawa Home Builders’ Association (GOHBA) proudly recognized outstanding individuals and companies within its membership with the 2026 Special Achievement Awards (SAAs), presented during the Annual General Meeting on April 8, 2026.
The Special Achievement Awards celebrate leadership, innovation, and meaningful contributions to the residential construction industry and the broader community. This year, GOHBA received over 30 nominations, highlighting the exceptional talent, dedication, and impact across its membership. Following a structured review and voting process, finalists were selected based on their achievements, innovation, and commitment to excellence.

Winner: Mike Dambra, Dambra Flooring

Recognizing an individual whose foresight and innovation have driven meaningful change.
Winner: Rosaline J. Hill, RJH Architecture + Planning
Rosaline J. Hill has demonstrated exceptional leadership and advocacy in residential infill, advancing practical, solution-oriented improvements across the industry and the City of Ottawa.
Lifetime Achievement Award
Honouring an individual whose career has left an enduring mark on the industry.
Winner: Paul Scissons
Paul Scissons has made a significant and lasting contribution to GOHBA through his leadership, advocacy, and commitment to advancing residential construction standards and member engagement.
