Ottawa new home sales rise in June as market sees mid-year uptick

July 28, 2025

OTTAWA, ON — Ottawa’s new home market continued its gradual rebound in June, with 358 units sold, marking a 7.8 per cent increase compared to June 2024, when 332 new homes were purchased.

“June’s numbers are especially encouraging for Ottawa home builders as we pass the halfway point of 2025,” said Jason Burggraaf, Executive Director of the Greater Ottawa Home Builders’ Association. “While total sales are trailing last year’s pace, month-over-month gains show demand is there, and we hope to see buyers turn out in greater numbers in the second half of the year.”
