GOHBA encourages and supports the safety measure of social distancing protocols as advised by Ottawa Public Health and all three levels of government, and are taking the following steps to ensure the protection of our members, their communities, and families.
The GOHBA office will be closed until further notice, and staff will be working from home, available via phone, email, and virtual meetings. Non-essential committee meetings taking place over the upcoming weeks will be cancelled, and going forward, any scheduled meetings will take place via conference call. This information will be distributed to each individual committee via email.
All upcoming GOHBA events from now through April 30 (RenoDAY, Casino Night and the Building Innovation Trade Show) are postponed.
Any current registrants for these upcoming events will be given the opportunity for cancellation and full refund, or the option to defer registration once the event has been rescheduled.
We thank you for your patience and support, and can assure members that our email communication will continue to ensure you have the most up to date information to assist you in this rapidly changing situation. We encourage you to contact us with any questions you may have or to share information on what your organization is doing in response to COVID-19.
